Implementation Partners

Implementation partners are the build team. This is the role with the highest commission and the highest bar to qualify.

What you do

  • Review the approved BRD, SRS, and FSD, and the development plan/task breakdown
  • Build the project using the DEX platform
  • Run QA end-to-end against what the client actually asked for
  • Get client sign-off
  • Deploy through dev → staging → production
  • Support the go-live

What you earn

20% of total project value, paid after production go-live, on a net-30 schedule.

This stacks with the other two roles. A single partner or team that refers the client, runs the SME/requirements role, and builds the project earns:

8% + 14% + 20% = 42% — the maximum any single partner can earn on a project.

Worked example: Bala reviews the SRS/FSD, builds the entire project on DEX, runs QA, and gets the client's production sign-off. Bala earns 20% of the project value for the implementation role alone — on top of whatever referral or collaborative commission applies if Bala also held those roles.

Splitting the role

The 20% can be split across a team, weighted by contribution — Colakin allocates this based on documented work.

Qualification: this role has a certification bar

Unlike referral and collaborative partners, implementation partners must go through a certification process before taking on client work:

  • Demonstrated technical expertise in the relevant stack (e.g. a minimum of 3 years' experience for a given framework)
  • Evidence of reference projects actually delivered in that stack (e.g. a completed Flutter project, a completed CRM project, a completed React project)
  • Onboarding onto DEX delivery tooling, including registration on the DEX Time Sheet with biometric and geolocation check-in

Implementation partners can be individuals or companies (including freelancers and established IT services firms).
